 RIGA Viola Compressor - Mod for Less Distortion |

I added a 4.3 zener diode to mine over the weekend and the pedal is so much more usable now. You can also see it on the oscilloscope! Can hear it more than you can see it in these pics. Top is without the zener diode, bottom is with. Only get distortion with the level control at maximum but the level control is now usable to about 90% maximum level. When it does distort, only the bottom half of the sine wave hard clips. It does this with or without that zener diode, is a little less severe with the diode installed.   Thanks grizzlytone! | ||
