I have intensely searched for a schematic for a couple of weeks now but have been unsuccessful in finding one. Saw a post here from a while ago that someone had been looking for one for six months! It seems to be non-existent in a digital format :-(

I saw in another thread on this forum to look at another Elektronika schematic that has a compressor section but it's unclear to me that this pedal actually has one. It's not really a compressor pedal as far as I can tell, it's a fuzz-distortion pedal. Uses a few silicon transistors and a 14-pin IC chip which appears to be used as a CMOS distortion generator.

I'm really curious about the design of this one. Anyone want to help me generate a schematic? I made a CAD drawing of the PCB from pictures I found but I need to know what the component values are. Therefore, I need someone that has one of these units to help me with identifying what all of the component values are. I also don't know where any of the wires connect to the PCB.

I know it's probably a longshot as this one seems to be a uncommon guitar effect but thought I'd give it a try anyway. I uploaded an image of the PCB to "PostImage" (shown below) if anyone wants to help me tackle it.

Here [link], 2 posts by Grizzlytone were published dated 29.12.2010, where the compressor-sustainer is mentioned, with archived files attached. Sorry I'm not sure it could help...

Thanks. That is the thread I remember looking at recently. Unfortunately it doesn't really help. Grizzlytone makes claim that compressor section of Jet Phaser and Compressor-Sustainer are same but that's not quite the case. I looked at those schematics last week. Seems they are similar in some ways but they are also different in some respects.

EDIT: OK I put foot in my mouth. I found the schematic that I think he was referring to. It's the bottom section here:

That's one step closer...

Just to clarify this point: it was not only Grizzlytone who has indicated that "Compressor-Sustainer" was a half of "Jet-Phaser", but You can see that claim in the posts published by Dimma, in Russian (whose pictures have not survived after several changes of the Forum hosting...)

I see, thanks. Well some things don't seem to add up. Jet-Phaser (PCB #721) has a K140UD7 IC chip and the Compressor-Sustainer (PCB #720) has a K176LE5 IC chip (working off low-ish quality pictures in either example). Those appear to be two very different types of IC chips. Not sure they serve the same purposes... one is for general purpose audio frequency and one is a Quad 2-input NOR gate. That's one reason I'd like to figure out the schematic, to answer these sorts of questions.

EDIT: OK so I have unveiled a new mystery. This PCB that I have been focusing on does not look like the inside of any of the Elektronika pedals! I just took a a closer look at the pictures I have of other examples and the PCB is much different looking. So maybe there was two versions of the same pedal? I know that to be the case with the Kazan "Booster" for example - there is a three transistor version and a four transistor version but in same packaging! Hmm.... I need to "go back to the drawing board" as they say.

EDIT #2: It's Synchro Wah but with some stuff missing! D1 is not present on the PCB, as well as 2-3 dozen other parts. I'm starting this day over again.
