A member that went by the name "grizzlytone" had offered PDF of the instruction manual for SPEKTR-1 wah-fuzz-vibrato. I found a couple of old posts where it was made available using a Dropbox link. Unfortunately, those links expire after 30 days. Does anyone per chance have a copy of this PDF that they could share? I've searched and searched and searched on the internet for this using normally successful methods, but I have come up empty handed on this one.

I recently bought a SPEKTR-1 via eBay and had to do a lot of work to get it back to fully functioning condition. I like it a lot, it's a fun one to mess around with. Sure would like to have the manual to go along with it!

I have also discovered in my research that not all units were the same. Some employ a zener diode on the non-LFO power supply (all the stuff that is not part of the vibrato) and some don't have this diode. Also am wondering if there are two slightly different versions of the schematic. Seems to me that around 1980 the zener diode was added. All of the units I have seen before 1980 do not appear to have the zener diode.

Also it is still a mystery is how that DC power jack was wired. My unit had all of that disconnected so I have no idea how that was wired. It was a complete rats nest inside and I had to recreate that neat wiring harness best I could with plastic "zip ties". That was done after I re-capped it - most of the electrolytics were bad. Also one transistor appeared to have been replaced, but it was put in backwards. Once I figured that out the vibrato worked again. And for some reason, the two positive 9V terminals were connected together. Once I figured that out the ticking from the LFO was eliminated from the audio path. There's a list of several other things I had to do as well. It was a real mess. Would have never figured it out without the schematic & PCB layout uploaded to this forum!

There is separate power supply for the amplifier and generator to reduce mutual influence.

One battery powers the upper part of the circuit, the second the lower.
The passport says so, the batteries are not connected.

Awesome - thank you! I looked thru that thread but missed that link. Language barrier thing.
I drew up the PCB and a wiring diagram too. Here it is in case anyone needs it in the future:

Yes I saw that on the schematic. I did not know that someone connected the two together and I discovered it kind of by accident.
The manual does confirm that it needs two independent power supplies when using an external power supply.
Some other helpful things in there to, like power consumption, which is something I was wondering about.

Thanks. This is what I used to fix mine! Would have never figured it out otherwise.

I think the PDF file I was pointed to earlier in this thread will suffice. If you have a higher quality scan I'm interested. You can PM me for my email.
